To celebrate the end of exams and start of summer, I went away for a few days with three of my loveliest friends, to Somerset. We stayed in the countryside, feeding horses, climbing hills and making up horror stories about abandoned houses we passed! We then went into Wells, the prettiest little town, with cobblestone streets and a stunning Cathedral (that ranks as the most expensive property on Somerset monopoly, don't you know?).
One of the most striking aspects about the countryside is the never ending greenery surrounding you! It may sound obvious, but when you live in London you forget how green England can be, as you become used to the dull greys of city buildings. Although I'm so happy that I live in London, sometimes it's good to leave the tourists and become one yourself!
After Wells we went into Bath, and couldn't resist paying a visit to the Bath spa! It was so relaxing, and the rooftop pool was magical! I've never done anything like it before, and if you visit Bath I'd really recommend it!
I've only just gotten back, and I'm off again! I'm going to Morocco with my mum for a week and a half, and I could not be more excited! We're planning on spending a few days in Marrakech, then walking in the mountains (with a guide) and then relaxing by the sea in Essaouira!

btw i love your blog & followed! do you think you could give me some tips on my blog and maybe follow? would love my blog to be as good as yours :)x

ReplyDeleteoh, darling, I wanted to buy that "mint" trousers too, but they didn´t fit me :/ but you look amazing:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to celebrate the end of exams and of school. I know Bath, but not Wells - which looks beautiful in your photos. I feel the opposite way in terms of visiting London - in that I forget how amazing it is in between trips, but I can sometimes take the extended greenery, hills and valleys of home for granted. How fortunate we are that we can experience both rural and urban. Have a great, great time on holiday.
ReplyDeleteReally amazing pictures :)
