This year has been amazing. I went on the most amazing adventure in Morocco where I climbed mountains, rode a camel, had cookery classes, went to a hamam (one of the scariest experiences ever!) and learnt so much about the Moroccan culture. I finished my GCSEs and made wonderful new friends in 6th form (and no longer have to do maths woohoo!). I went away with my friends to Bath and Devon, I went to see Miranda (one of my favourite TV shows) being filmed and got a photo with the Tardis (Doctor Who is another of my favourite programmes) and a dalek. I went to see Derren Brown's show (one of my favourite people, ever), saw a silent movie with a live orchestra and went to Bruce Springsteen's concert with my Springsteen-crazy family. I went to France and spent a day in Paris with my brother who is now having amazing new experiences in China (!!!). We had fun celebrating the diamond jubilee and, of course, the Olympics. I saw Olympic volleyball and was front row at Paralympic athletics twice! I went to amazing exhibitions including my favourite of the year, the Rain Room and read some unforgettable books. I did a brilliant art course at the NPG in the summer (my extra long summer because we finished exams) where I learned so much. And I got my new DSLR which I love to pieces. Annnnd breathe out.
Yep. I'd say 2012 has been pretty great.

Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYour year sounds incredible! That so awesome you got to see some of the Olympics in person, and that you were able to go to Morocco, too! :) What a neat collection of photos you have here. Happy New Year, Kate!
