Queen of diamonds

Are you a board game kind of person? I think everyone turns into one around Christmas, but only the select few remain so throughout the rest of the year. We almost never play board games at Easter, or at half terms, but over Christmas and New Year we can't get enough. One of my favourites that always comes out at New Year is The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game. It starts off as a fun racing game but then gets majorly competitive (on the scale of board game competitiveness it's above Monopoly but below Risk :). Sometimes it's just what you need to have a good old grump with your family because they knocked you off at the last hedge!
